A broad question We all know that Reincarnation and Karma are complex and the results of current and past lives. It is said in Gurbani (I think) that those who think of their partners/women at death are born again as prostitutes; those who think of their house then become ghosts; those who think of money/greed become pigs. Can anyone give some other examples ? I remember there are some of men from Gurus' times who became an animal and later Sants have come into the world and taken those souls out of that Jooni Are there other clear examples of how a specific action will lead to specific consequences? Are those born deaf or blind so, because the…

Hello Sangat Ji, In a certain baani, reading from translations, while waheguru was being praised in the baani there was a line in which it said you(waheguru) birthed yourself from an egg. I am not sure if this is dasam baani or from sggs, if this is familiar to you or you know which baani/ang this is from, let me know please, and if you have more insights please do reply.

18th Century: In this alternate history, I am starting after all the Sikh Misls had united under Maharaja Ranjit Singh. In this time line , Sikh Kings were not tolerant, any and all gaddars and enemies were killed without a thought. This Maharaja Ranjit Singh looked toward the future of the raj after his death and planned it so. The Maharaja did not invite anyone into the inner circle except strict Sikhs, aka Nihangs and those who had no alternate motivations except the far and wide rule of Sikh Fauj. In this scenario the king knew all about the dogra's trecherous nature, so he invaded and routed and slaughtered all dogras while annexing kashmir full into the sikh ra…

I have been searching the net and I am come accross some subjects on the issue of marriage between Sikhs and non-Sikhs. I wanted to ask an abstract question. If you were a devout bapitized Sikh and your daughter who is currently visiting you during school break comes home with a young non-Sikh man who you assume to be her friend suddenly announces during dinner that she is love with him and wants to get married after she graduates, what would your reaction be?????????????

This is eye opening. Ex Scotland Yard police man Jon Wedger (who did 27 years service) exposes how high ranking police officers and politicians derail investigations into organised pedo rings, and try and intimidate people who persist in confronting these things. It's interesting to note how he mentions one of the hotbeds of such abuse being Southall, which most of us will know has a sizeable Sikh population. Sadly, we still get the odd dimwitted, cowardly apna (and apnee) who resent Sikhs who have been trying to combat the long-standing phenomena of the targeted grooming of people in our own community. Often they suggest that the phenomena is exaggerated, or …

In the starting of Sarbloh Granth Sahib, it's written Sri bhawani ji sahayee Sri maya lachhme ji sayayee Ustat Sri maya lachhme ji ki Many Sikhs get confused over this. I studied Hindi up till 10th class. The word 'Sri' is only used for male gender. For female gender 'Srimati' is used. So 'Sri maya' doesnt mean Maya but means Akaal Purakh ji who is Master of Maya 'Sri bhawani' doesnt mean bhawani goddess but means Akaal Purakh ji who is Master of bhawani.

Why is the Hindu fanatic group RSS so concerned about Sikh conversions in Punjab to Christianity? What about the Sikh genocide in 1984 in Hindustan. In reality they only care about Hindu Dalits in Punjab who in large numbers are converting. Be beware of both of these groups Hindu or Christian. They want to finish Sikhi in Punjab.
