would hate for Nihang Singhs have grown this time due to them practicing jhatka maryada and shikaar? In my family pends around Jalandhar Kartarpur, there was much negativity towards Nihang Singhs

I am guessing- through the shabads - that cannabis has a negative effect on the soul. This explains why Sikhi is against cannabis. I was also wondering if anyone has information on the medical problem
